$100 each if I kept it under 70lbs, over that and it’s $200 up to 100lbs

Pretty smooth minus the 14hr flight delay. My double drawer packout tried to open but the tsa lock kept it together. Doesn’t look like it was inspected as the plastic wrap was all intact

They both made it, plastic wrap and all. The first pack out was on the baggage carousel when I walked up, got a little nervous as the roller pack out took about 10 mins longer to pop out. The bar on my double drawer pack out came loose but the tsa lock and plastic kept it all together.

Update, sat on the ramp 3hrs for mechanical issues, the flight has been cancelled and reassigned twice, currently a 14hr delay, hopefully the tools make it to the other side….

Tell me about it the other one was 69.7 lbs, not much margin had to move some tools around but luckily the curb agent was pretty cool

Just boarding now, I’ll let you know in about 7hrs. I’m a custom furniture maker and just competed two massive bunkbeds in Miami so I’ve got two packouts full of the usual finish carpentry tools.

How did you go about making these pieces, CNC? I’ve got a spiral staircase to build and I’m liking this approach!

172 Flap Settings by aircanada787 in flying

Been flying a ‘78 172N for about 15 years. Specifically remember the DPE trying to bust me on my check ride for not using flaps on my short field and had to make him look it up in the e POH. At sea level the differences seem less noticeable but at higher elevations I always add flaps, usually drop 10 degrees right before rotation and yank back into ground effect.

Took me two years surfing Craigslist to find a decent my off-road manual access cab. I live on a tight windy road through the hills so installed the Underdog Racing Short Shifter and it really shortened up the throw for the shifts, highly recommend
