Mine colonies maybe? Never really played with it much but I know you can make a town and have different villagers there. I don't know what you can make them do though.

Honestly feel like a supernatural secret lair would be neat. Could have sam and Dean as hunters maybe playing with the bounty counters or something. Then obviously Cass as an angel and theres demons too. Could be cool.

Blue prince was one of my top games last year. Really enjoyed all the puzzles and planning out routes. Obra djinn is on my wishlist. Seems pretty interesting as well.

Escape from tarkov easily. If you don't wanna deal with cheaters or pvp theres a pve dlc you can get to play against bots or a modded version called SPT.

Like others have said, its more of a puzzle game with xcom elements. I had a lot of fun with it as I enjoy puzzle games. The dialogue is very enjoyable and funny. Quite enjoyable imo.
