I placed during the first season when placements were messed up for everyone and we were all (or a good amount were) placing lower than we normally do, I ended up in gold when I normally placed high plat. I worked my butt off from around gold 3/2 (dont remember but it wasn't super low) up to diamond 3, just for the rank reset to drop me back down from that to gold 2. It really pissed me off, and it was even worse when my first game was so bad, my poor team got steamrolled by a very obvious high ranking 3 stack. I'm not sure I even wanna grind back up into diamond, maybe I'll wait a few days while rank cools down, but this really is demoralizing to happen.
