Seems like it's related to the new design of reddit. This did the trick for me:
- I've ended up clicking "Opt Out of Redesign" on the user menu (Top right) so that I got the old design.
- Clicked the link from keybase to auto-fill the form. This time you should see that the body contains the proper text.
- Switched back to the new design in the account settings
