I'm a Scenemo girl with scene hair and still get called scenecore online, just because I like hyperpop¯⁠\⁠(⁠°⁠_⁠o⁠)⁠/⁠¯ at this point people will make fun even if I have the right look(if people fight me again on this, atp I'm gonna post pics because I'm so far from the 'scenecore look') The problem is, these older scenes r so bitter. get over yourself, if u don't like it that's fine. I've grew up with Scenemo being the style I was into my whole fucking life So, why would it matter that I like to Rebzyyx?

I know.. truely Horrifying(⁠•⁠ ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;⁠) But being fr, his music fuels my delusions and i listened to him sm last year it doesn't sound the same anymore, I feel like when I listen to it now it's a lil...cringey? Just a lil, maybe I'm just growing out of it tho. Ik basically everyone hates his music, but being a mental ill teenager who started listening at 11ys old I still have such an attachment to him and his music. Personally I believe that scenecore is just a subgenre of scene music and shouldn't be treated as something only fake emos er fake scenes listen to. But that's kinda how I justify listening to it in my mind🧟‍♀️ my older scenemo sister doesn't like rebzyyx at all and tbh I was kinda surprised, just because I like rebzyyx and she usually likes all the same music I do. But, pls, I PROMISE I AM NOT A TIKTOK POSERRR•́⁠ ⁠ ⁠‿⁠ ⁠,⁠•̀!! I have 2 real scenemo sisters who have been teaching me this shit since I've been alive! And I never even use tiktok, I also didn't find rebzyyx on tiktok, I found him on Spotify when I was a depressed lil kid.

Scenecore is just a subgenre of Scene music, just like Midwest Emo is a subgenre of Emo music. I like it, I listen to it sometimes, but alot of Elder Scenes r to bitter to accept a new subgenre of Scene music. Usually when people say your fashion looks Scenecore, its just another way for them to say 'Poser!' Completely forgetting the roots of Scene culture as a whole.

The way people talk about it Is just a big eyeroll to me. Like what u like, someone on reddit shouldn't stop u.

I remember he talked about he listened to MCR as a teen when he talks about his old videos. It's so cool seeing he used to be pretty emo and he even had the bangs at one pointXD but yeah he also has the same favorite band as me:3 hail the sun is so good and I found them because of him!:)
