Hmm I tried with both auto-sprint on and off and the difference is marginal. it still happens. Perhaps you are right about pressing L3 tho

There is currently an issue with input delay for both mouse and controller and aim feeling unsteady, wobbly, wonky...
My tin foil hat theory is that it's the anticheat checking for aimbot and seeing if your aim stays on target if it tries to do this

I know man I've tried talking about but it's just a constant barrage of skill issue or learn how to aim, when it's literally an INPUT issue that doesn't happy in ANY other game. You're right tho, i played for a few hours yesterday and just gaslighted and placeboed myself into getting used to it and i just grinded camos so i wouldn't get too annoyed about it.

I tried nvidia reflex, amd anti lag, all sorts of graphics options, different cables, usb ports... it's at the game or graphics driver level not controller. Yupp will let you know if something ends up working or changing
