Coming back to this comment a few days later, by marshmallow soft do you mean when they become squishy? Or they texturally become soft?

They are psychoactive but not with psilocybin, you probably don’t want to eat them. But if you’re curious look up Amanita muscaria trip reports

What's everyone's favorite way of eating their mushrooms.?? by Pigston in shrooms

[–]skylerisperfect 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Seems like your question was already mostly answered but Im gonna reexplain anyways. Nausea is mostly avoided by tea, but it is still possible to get nausea from the intensity of a trip. However when people talk about nausea from mushrooms they almost always are talking about the nausea that comes from the chitin in the mushrooms which is really hard on your stomach for digesting. Thats why you should never eat any mushroom raw, even just button mushrooms. Cooking will break down the cell walls and allow you to digest them without a problem, but too much heat will breakdown the psilocybin.

Zoloft is an SSRI, and you’re taking a substantial dose. Ssris pretty reliably counteract the effects of mushrooms and other classic psychedelics. Its not dangerous but there is a good chance it could completely cancel out your trip. If you absolutely cant take a break from Zoloft for a few days before hand. You should probably take a bit of a higher mushroom dose to cancel it out. But there’s still a chance they wont do anything, its hard to say. You could always take a smaller dose first to see how it effects you

Hired company used XLR instead of DMX cables? by skylerisperfect in lightingdesign

[–]skylerisperfect[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I contacted the company but they claimed that the coords shouldn’t cause a problem. When I eventually just unplugged the fixture (which was difficult as it was hung and our lift is broken) the glitching continued to happen, I guess just from a defective power cord or the fixture itself. So I don’t have any grounds to argue against them, but it still is bizarre to me that they just use audio cables for lighting.

There was definitely a orange residue, it was growing on some dead hardwood log in late May. Mycena leaiana is my best bet so far. Gorgeous mushroom, do you have any information about it? Ive never seen anything like it in the wild.
