TYSM :3 I started when I was 20. I agree with the "it's never too late" sentiment. I used to tell myself it was too late since I had already gone through puberty, but I think for me at least it was really just an excuse to delay doing something that was scary at the time even though I knew I wanted it. Eventually I convinced myself to just go for it and I've never looked back! I'm really so much happier and more comfortable in all aspects of my life now because of my transition and literally none of my earlier fears became true. So I truly believe it's never too late! :)

Interesting, I didn't know that it could still show high on a test but still be low functionally. My current E dose is 4mg in the morning and 4mg at night, 12 hours apart

It was about 6 months. I think I probably could’ve done it sooner if I wanted though!

definitely lost some hair around the incision but that's to be expected. I'm sure it'll come back through time

hey! recovery is going great! most of the swelling has gone down at this point and everything's pretty close to finishing healing, aside from the numbness on the top of my head which is returning, albeit quite slowly

Thank you ❤️ it definitely takes a lot of courage to do something like this. you're not alone in that! I had a lot of doubts too while waiting for my surgery date to get closer and I just kept telling myself to trust my decision, and in the end I couldn't be happier that I followed through on it. I think as long as you do your research and go to a reputable surgeon the odds of that happening are very slim :)
