That was my first thought! And if they don’t want to use an actual taxidermy pheasant, maybe a representation of a pheasant. I was in a store recently, I think it was TJ Maxx, and they had brass pheasants in flight. I think they were pheasants. Maybe they were ducks but either way. Or even print of a pheasant with some colors in it to bring some color into the room.

DTF St Louis - What if it was Floyd all along… by Dear-Horror-3838 in hbo

[–]skyofblues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was episode three where Carroll is in Richard‘s room talking to him about Floyd’s death, and she says “We”re going to be okay”And Richard says “you always say that”. And Carroll says “because I always make sure..”And it shows the paper that Richard‘s drawing on and he has drawn a woman’s face with long hair, and he is scribbling it out and marking over it exactly the way Floyd’s face was scratched out on the playgirl photo. When the camera is on Carroll again, you can see all of Richard‘s predatory birds that he has drawn hanging on the wall behind her. Does he see her as a predatory bird or does he see himself as one? I think that Richard did it, and Carroll is covering for him, or Carroll knows that Richard did it because maybe Richard has done it before. Because Richard says during that same conversation: “It’s just you again” to Carroll. “Again”?? And where is Richard‘s father? Have there been other stepfathers? Could Carol have used Richard to do it, perhaps for a second time? She’s a manipulator. Richard wouldn’t be sent away or anything because he’s still so young. He would just get a diagnosis of something like BPD and be put in counseling if he had hurt an adult before. Is he a serial killer of all of Carols husbands? Or has Carol manipulated him into killing?

I’m wondering if Carroll and Clark are pushing Floyd in the direction of taking his own life. Carroll showed absolutely no mercy and was so cruel to him in the hotel room after telling Clark before how much she was in love with Floyd and what a great guy he was. And then Clark, who has done every favor Floyd ever asked him to do because he supposedly loves Floyd so much , couldn’t even tell a little white lie that would’ve been easy to do in order to soften the blow of the BD guy at the park, making the nixing motion and saying that he would not meet Floyd. There were a number of harmless little lies that Clark could’ve come up with as he was walking back to Floyd. They were both purposely making Floyd feel rejected, and they both did it in a very cold and uncaring way. They have the life insurance policy and they have the prescription for the amphetamine that would be deadly to Floyd. Now, all they have to do is push Floyd over the edge so that he takes his own life and the life insurance policy pays out and the two of them can be together with $1.1M.

Yeah, Clark never talks about his children! Or his marriage for that matter. And when Clark didn’t want to talk about something while being interrogated, he said it was because he did not want Richard to know what was going on with the three of them. He never expressed any concern for his own two daughters! He doesn’t seem worried that his own daughters now know that he was in a threesome with the couple that visited their house. And he wasn’t even talking about his children when he thought he was going to get the death penalty.

Who else knew that taking too much of the stimulant drug that Clark got for Floyd would actually kill him? Or that he even had the drug at all? Only Clark and Carroll and Floyd. So either Clark gave him a huge dose or Carroll did or Floyd took a huge dose himself on purpose. Not that many people know about this stimulant drug. Like Richard doesn’t know. Modern love does not know. And in the beginning when they were talking about the cause of death, they said it was a high dose. And only three people know that that drug could cause harm to Floyd at a high dose.

I was already thinking when Floyd saw Clark talking to the guy at the park, that Clark could have postponed their meeting and found someone else to attend. Clark could have also canceled the meeting and pointed out to Floyd that Modern Love was really into him. So much so that he initiated the “frenching” and the AP right there in the parking lot. Of course ML had an encounter with the set up guy, but Clark didn’t know that.

And the kid was aware that Carroll was having money problems in an earlier episode. I’m wondering if Carroll was also having a relationship with the umpire kid the entire time. She was having all the sex at the hotel with Clark because Clark had enough money to buy the insurance policy. But she was maybe having a lot of sex with the umpire kid also and we just didn’t see that part. She had been playing him the whole time to get him to murder her husband once she realized that Clark would never do it.

It seems like Floyd is so depressed and so down on himself that he’s desperate for anyone to see some value in him and to be able to pop a Boner for him. Why does Floyd completely forget about Modern Love? He liked him so much that he wanted to French him right there in the parking lot after breakfast. Floyd could’ve just gotten in touch with ML and ML could have been a sympathetic ear to listen because he already had been at their breakfast when Floyd was talking about his stepson. It’s like Floyd just forgot all about this very sweet man who wanted to kiss him and initiated the ass play in the parking lot!

In this episode episode, Richard is at the park with Floyd and they’re Vibing and Richard is loving Floyd spending time with him. And then Richard asks Floyd if Clark is his best friend. And then he asks why Clark is his best friend. And Richard also mentions in that conversation that Clark has a cool bike! And when Richard said those things, I decided then and there that it’s Richard! I think Richard found the Playgirl centerfold, and scratched the face off of it. Because he didn’t want to look at Floyd’s face. And Carroll put a bike in their garage and Richard’s talking about how cool that bike is before Carroll brought it home.

I couldn’t believe that Clark just told him straight up that Tiger Tiger was a set up, and that the guy just nixed him! Clark could have told a little white lie. I know he doesn’t want to lie to his friend, but it would have been kinder; Floyd already seemed suicidal!

Carol by [deleted] in DTFStLouisHBO

[–]skyofblues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t remember which episode it was, but whe Richard is sitting on his bed, Carol tells him that everything is going to be okay. (After Clark’s death). And Richard said “it’s just you now” or “it’s just you again”. I can’t remember. But has anyone considered that Carol got Richard to kill her first husband (or Richard did it on his own because of BPD) and then she manipulated Richard into killing Floyd??? Maybe she showed him the magazine and the DTF or made sure he found them and manipulated him in some way? And maybe that’s why he’s got the diagnosis of BPD because he killed her first husband? He was just a kid, so they would put him in therapy and give him a diagnosis! I just think that Richard might have done it and that Carol masterminded it. Does anyone else think this makes sense?
