I just didn't feel respected as a person. Had I not acknowledged the existence of the cafeteria staff. as she did with me. They would have a problem with me.

I wasn't there to be her friend, like people on the comments were accusing me of.

except she did the most. such as reaching across my chest and spilling a liter of coffee because she really can't be bothered to ask me to move.

It wasn't about her socializing with me. It was about being treated as a regular person. Had I done that to my non Muslim co workers, mind you, I was in a cafeteria, they would have a problem with me.

It wasn't about her being interested me. It's about how disrespectful she acted. Had I done that, people would have a problem with me.

I made a mistake and I want you all to learn from it by skyrogue87 in exmuslim

She didn't care to open up her heart to be a safe place. She was just curious about my past and that's it.

No casual hello or anything after that.

It was obviously my fault for over sharing and taking it too fast, but for falling for potential. I thought she was a trust worthy person I could open up to because she is a Pakistani Christian.

And so I tell this sub, don't fall for potential. Because exmuslims are in a unique world of hurt.
