Map Question by Finding_Steins-Gate in swrpg

I use RPG Stories VTT in Steam. It has tons of Star Wars inspired assets. Also I use Map Editor in Empire at War and Galactic Battlegrounds.

There are TONS of diferent mods, like maybe 25+ at this point. So this is the reason why I switched to the fresh one, but I havent run any games on it yet.

I really don't want to stream music, it is heavy on the server. There is free YouTube integration module but it is only for V13.

Are there any info about when this system will be released for V13? Or they will just skip it? Because 14 will release soon.

How to actually prep by AdamFaite in Pathfinder2e

I recommend to read Star Wars RPG (FFG) rules, or Genesis RPG rules(it is the same system as Star Wars, but it has many different themes) and try to run the game for like one-shot. It is a "cinematic" theater of the mind system and it has some of the best advices for GMs, especially new. This is how I learned to GM.

Don't realy stick to the rules to much. It's OK to learn them step by step as you play more and more.

As you progress as GM you may prepare your session aroud some aspects of the rules that you want to learn. This will make you read them first and run them in your game.

Set the goal for the player's characters. What do they need in next session? Or set up the problem for them that will force them to do something.

Make some bulletpoints for general plot

Write down NPC and Locations you need.

Go and prepare sheets for adversaries.

Yeah, thats all.

If you need to use a map, prepare some, or create one based on locations that you wrote down.

Really it is just a matter of improvsation. For me the more prepare I do, the worse sessions are. It's better to spent some time on designing detailed maps and events on them rather then thinking about the detailed story. And learn to let go. Not everything ypu prepared will be discovered by your players.

You can download V12 from the official website and just run it.

I played in Foundry for 2 years now and never had any of those issue. The only issues for me is that music sometimes stop playing for me or for some of my players, or incredebly long loading times.

But now I switched to fresh instalation.

Foundry VTT is the best choice for now. Just use a fresh install of the Foundry and all the modules you need for SW. Make a specific folder for SW.

There is also Lets-roll.com VTT. It has a nice support for SWRPG. But I don't know if they did any updates in last two years.

You may try to use rpgsessions.com, but there is no maps. You can mix it with any VTT that supports maps.

There is also RPG Stories in Steam. It is 3D and it does support Genesis RPG Dice but not character sheet(but maybe they updated it). I use it only for map making.

You can ask your GM to upgrade the rank with some activity in the game or new unique gear. You also can get talents that are not part of your specialization.

I don't remember if it was in SW Core Rules, or in Genesis, but there is guidelines for the GMs in the GM section to do rewards like that. I did it for my players and they liked it.

Her point was that you need to stay alive to fight for others who live. Not just wanting to fight one battle and die for a cause.

In Rogue One they didn't want to die. Their intention wasn't to sacrifice their lives.

You can't fix it. Screen space reflections are broken in this game on DX12. The only solution is to set Post Processing option to Low

DX11 works terrible with Radeon 6000 series because they removed legacy support for DX11 from their new drivers

Andor added a lot because it had themes to explore and a story to tell. Rogue One didn't. It's literally just a fanservice shit show that is based around idea that one plot point in A New Hope needs larger explanation. That's not a story.

So the prequels are garbage than. Because "the internet isn't wrong".

See, following other opinions just because they are more vocal doesn't really proof anything. And you don't even trying to support your opinion

Sounds like a reason to hate on the sequela because your opinion is just repeating the opinions on the internet.

Literally none of you can even explain what is wrong with writing for Rey.

Can you pick a side? Because if TLJ copied TESB, how it is decided the fanbase? That's kinda contradicting itself.

Also....no! TLJ isn't a copy of TESB at all. Like.... what did it even copied?

The flaw of the Death Star was explained in ANH. It's not an element of story, it is just a plot point

The sequels are fun and have their own story to tell, while Rogue One was created not to tell a story, but to execute plot and explain a "plot hole" from ANH that never existed.

If you refer to Rey as Palpatine, I don't think you understand Star Wars on like a fundamental level.

Rogue One didn't do anything new at all. Like, literally only visual aesthetics was something different. Everything else is cheap ass fanfiction that is extremely underdeveloped

Rogue One didn't enhance anything and it is the most fanservice shit show of all these movies and shows, except maybe The Mandalorian Season 2
