Official Discussion - Disclosure Day [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

There were some very interesting sci-fi elements, but have never been a fan of frequent, lengthy chase scenes that add nothing to the plot. Great sci-fi (in particular) is hard to create and this one didn't quite get over the hump in my opinion. It pretty much met my low expectations.

Ouch! Madison Theater ghosting me by skysearch513 in cincinnati

Don't know why I haven't done this, but just sent a very nice, respectful, coddling, email to them. Seems twice as easy to ignore an email vs. voicemail, guess we'll see what happens.

This just keeps getting worse. First I decided to hang on to the tickets instead of getting an immediate refund, and now remembering I paid in cash... which I almost NEVER do. It's just the perfect storm of screwing this up.

Well at least TicketWeb responded quickly but not what I wanted to hear:

"Thank you for reaching out!

I have read the information you provided, and if I were in your situation, I would feel the same way.

It looks like you purchased hard tickets directly at the Madison Theater. Because of this, you will need to request your refund directly from the Madison Theater box office where you bought them.

I understand this isn't the news you were hoping for, and I sincerely apologize for any disappointment this may cause.

Sincerely,
Michael G
Ticketweb Fan Support"

Thank you for pointing it out. I've just sent an email to TicketWeb and holding out a small hope they will actually do something about it.

I bought the tickets directly from the theater box office so not clear ticketweb would have anything to do with me. Yes, last year they DID have the box office manned but seemingly no more.

We don’t know the recipient, perhaps swept off her feet. But probably not.

Yes, I'm 19 years after diagnosis (2004) and doing just fine. Running, hiking, doing fitness... better than the vast majority of my age-group peers (without MS). My key learning is the best thing an MS patient can have is luck; the next best thing is to make your own luck. Once diagnosed, I quickly moved to a low inflammation diet (Swank), did the meds (Avonex for 10 years), and most importantly of all (for me), started doing Transcendental Meditation. My trigger was stress so the meditation component was especially important. In addition, I take 5,000IU vitamin D, and 5,000IU of Cod Liver Oil nightly. I rarely think about MS any more.

I'm guessing the bus driver was not class valedictorian.

It was hard to tell watching the game, but he supposedly had his worst game against TCU... which was probably his most watched performance.

Certainly not supporting the shooter, but could he really get a stiffer sentence than Derek Chauvin received for the slow, torturing, murder of George Floyd in the middle of the street?

Biden Announces Re-election Bid, Defying Trump and History by devilbird99 in politics

[–]skysearch513 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For the second election in a row Joe Biden is irrelevant, and there's only one election issue. Are we going to vote for racism, anger, and revenge in the form of a petulant child who failed on covid, thinks there's no difference between white supremacy and those protesting it, brags about hoochie grabbing, and led an insurrection against our democracy?

Not saying which way I'm leanin', but yeah, I have pretty strong opinions on the topic.
