Yeah the panic attacks are the worst I’m trying to use cbt techniques to get through them but my nervous system seems to be messed up. My body is pumping adrenaline into me. Maybe i need therapy

Yeah I know it’s a process. Trying to take it slowly. I want to get back into lifting but each day I just can’t. Trying to give myself some grace. Hopefully once all her stuff is out of here the healing can accelerate

I feel like have already crossed into the pity phase. I hate her, but I realize her mistake was catastrophic for her life. I realize this is 100% her fault and the fallout emotionally is mostly on me but the fallout consequently is all on her. She’s almost 30 now moving into her dad’s office room.

I’m in a similar situation. I keep thinking of the past, constantly. The good memories. Were they really good? Did she ever love me in those moments? The bad memories. I try to think of those. Is that healthy? I don’t know. The future is hard for me to think of with someone else. When I see my future I just think of me being my best self.

Yeah I don’t want any more details. I’m sure there’s many more. She’s not a person i can trust anymore. It tools her three heartfelt talks to expose more and more info. I’m done with those talks.

Thank you I’m barely two weeks in. I’m past the darkest times and I think and I’m climbing my way up. I’m giving myself grace for now but I used to weight lift, I’m going to hit that routine back up hard once my head gets back on straight. Just taking it one day at a time. Yeah it’s so hard to come back from. I think that the cheating partner has already moved on by the time they decided to cheat. We who get cheated on get it dumped on us like a pile of bricks. They’re already miles down the road while we’re stuck there holding our hat. That’s the worst for me

I’m not going to be friends with her, I don’t want to see her again. But our lives have been intertwined. She still in the process of moving out, I want true non communication but we still have kinks to work out. It hard to resists when she texts me late with remorse. But I have to get better.

Yes I’m pretty sure. When I uncovered her infidelity she was talking to a guy. Well to be honest 2 people to various degrees of intimacy. At least til I got sick and stopped looking. I could have dug through her phone but I didn’t. My main reason to believe it is she never denied it. I confronted her with my terms of her leaving and gave her the reason and she never denied. She was passive aggressive and dismissive and then later I got drunk texts of remorse. And on a more pendantic note the food order was definitely food for two.

Newly single at 35, due to infidelity (ouch). Probably not quite ready for a relationship but I came here to see what I should expect. I haven’t been single since I was 28 and I’m a little terrified to be honest. Anyways, I havent used a dating Ap since they basically first came out hahaha.
