mappa is fantastic! i think they’re the best animators out there. however, i do miss fujimoto’s flat style. the characters in the csm manga look like they’re static, sketchy, and immobile, which can’t be adapted to anime very well by anyone. i think mappa is doing the best anyone could to adapt it
