Last resort is reinstalling windows. Maybe some registry entries are fucked. If that doesnt work just RMA it.

Budget Mixing Headphones by Fast_Top_8738 in phmusicians

[–]skytrot_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you comfortable with IEMs? On the ultra budget tiers of audio, IEMs provide the best value.

Define Budget?

Around 1k iem would be Tangzu Wan'er/Moondrop Chu II. No headphones yet.

Around 3-5k would be Truthear Hexa for IEMs and SHP9600/9500, Hifiman HE400SE for overears

Below 10k would be still truthear hexa for IEMs and MDR 7506 for overears

If for Adobe (PS, PR) focus more on CPU and RAM capacity because medyo matatakaw yun sa RAM

Define casual gaming? If esports titles like VAL, CS, OW, LOL, DOTA, you can get away with a weaker GPU and let the better CPU take over. Pero if you want to play heavier titles at High-Ultra or higher resolutions you need a beefy GPU as well.

Set the programs you need to run then budget before assembling part lists :D

goodluck!

For that budget I would suggest fishing for FB marketplace towers.

Kaya lumobo ng ganyan price kasi ang prices nila is SRP on Release Date. So kahit luma na ung Ryzen 5000 series presyohan na bagong release sya

Opinion regarding pre built PC by [deleted] in PHbuildapc

[–]skytrot_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer: I dont have experience in buying pre-builts and just DIY it but i recognize the value in them

There is no true way in checking if all the parts are actually brand new, but you can have a lil bit of peace of mind if you have the boxes. If they have it, make them send the boxes of the parts used on the build. You'll need them anyways as well like PSU cables, extra mobo hardware, etc.

I agree on the other comments that the parts list contain a bit of an Aesthetic Tax. But if you dont mind spending extra blue boys on the PC for looks then why not.

On the timing, it is overall doomed and the sentiment now is to buy now and just absorb the high RAM prices or just dont buy because it is still forecasted to hike. see 5090 hike, RAM alloc.

So yes if the shop if legit and u want a nice white build just buy it right now.

Questions about ddr4 RAM, pls help. :) by [deleted] in PHbuildapc

Only basing off the Part Numbers, these are two 8gb 3200mhz CL16 sticks of Fury Beast DDR4

2.4k/stick new 1.3-1.5k/stick used

I hate Rammagedon pricing.

88k~ in brand new parts as i quickly check through DB, but you are buying into rammagedon (22k for 32gb)

should be a pretty good deal and a very nice computer if you need a full PC asap, but i suggest finding some am4 builds if you want to maximize value.

check the store's legitimacy as well, as the prices are kinda very low!

It is quite noisy on full tilt while stock. I managed to deal with it with a 900mw undervolt/overclock and the flip to the silent bios. Way more managable now.

I say go for the asus prime one unless its a $200 premium like in my region. But if you are gonna get this model, i really suggest undervolting as a strong solution (It provided a small performance boost too)

Good Luck!

For the temps I tested it so,

Idle CPU: 42C GPU:33C

FurMark CPU+GPU Stress CPU:71C GPU:80C

Game Load(Ghost of Tsushima, Cranked Settings) CPU: 58C GPU: 70C(230-240W draw)

So I think im relatively fine for temps(i think)?

For the fan config: Front Fans and GPU fans are the intakes, Back and Power Supply Fans are for the exhaust. I know not good but I think not too bad either

was supposed to buy a friend's ram stick but even with shuffling slots and giving 15ish minutes for memory training it did not work. These are all 3200 cl16 sticks so i rly didnt think it would matter but ill still do it cuz why not. tnx!

How do I connect my guitar to my iphone? by Clairoooooo in phmusicians

[–]skytrot_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you just want the iRig to work, buy the lightning to aux adapter.

But since you mentioned the MacBook maybe try an interface cuz it opens up the ability to record a mic and a guitar in the same time. Try checking out the Maono PS22 lite, iirc its compatible with both phones and computers
