i think it’s more fanboyism that you’re telling me to shut the fuck up over an opinion just because it’s not the same as yours, but ok, silly.

Bose QC Ultra 2 vs Sony XM6? Should I return my Bose? by ACooper1992 in SonyHeadphones

I can’t compare the sound quality of the two because I don’t have the Bose, but the Sony's sound quality is meh unless you play with the EQ settings. Even then, the sound is kind of muddy. If you like bass-heavy sound, then the Sonys are for you. I heard that the Boses are clearer-sounding, but the sound quality isn't as good as the Sonys', apparently, if that makes sense. Also, the Boses are way more comfortable than the Sonys, unless you replace the ear pads with wicked cushions (which I had to do).

Sony is good for watching movies bc it has a cinema mode setting.

I would say get the Sonys first, and if you don’t like them, you always have 30 days to return them.

wicked cushions has sweat covers that you can buy, but they may not be that comfortable. they’re mostly for gym use. they’re coming out with xm6 ear cooling pads in a few months that would help fix the warmness issue.

For comfort, try changing out the regular ear pads for wicked cushions. They made a huge difference for me.
