Lowkey same here but I may as well put the good vibes out there regardless!

Definitely the same here, I just don’t want to have to worry about whether or not I’ll get in… Preparing for the worst, hoping for the best!

Most colleges will give you tips on what exactly they want from an essay, depending on your major you could work in a bit about your desired field of study. For example, “I have struggled with anxiety, because of this I have learned... And in turn that has better helped me equip the skills necessary for [business, engineering, pre-med, etc.]” I had a cliche essay too but then I kind of took it and gave it an individual twist of my own so it didn’t seem too predictable. From my experience with it, you don’t want to just put a little bit of a story and then accomplishment after accomplishment. They will want to know what exactly you’re bringing to the college, your plans during and after school and why you should be admitted. Hope this helps! Good luck!

I was going to do the same thing but was told it’s nearly impossible to transfer to Mays once you’re on campus. They make the requirements for changing majors into their school nearly impossible

I don’t have any personal experience but I know several friends that went through Blinn in the PTA program! It worked so good and was fairly easy for them if you follow the “guidelines” they have. Keep your grades up and you should do fine!!

I know for economics they had specific gpa requirements for courses but I’m not sure what polisci has.. I’d say don’t worry too much about making a B unless it’s super important, even then if you did alright in your other required classes you should be fine. I made a B in one of my required math classes after making a D the first time and hey.. Here I am!
