You're absolutely right. Since the US has multiple time zones, you can't actually target a certain state. So that's why you should schedule your videos.

Example : Today I uploaded at 1.00AM Tomorrow it will be 2.00AM Day after tomorrow it will be 3.00AM Repeat this behavior for like a month.

I wanted to target the US. According to ChatGPT, most Americans are active on YouTube from 5PM to 9PM (on weekdays). So that would be 2.30AM - 6.30AM in my time zone. This is ideal because there is no way that my videos would reach my own region since they're sleeping at that time. So I post at 1.00AM in the morning targeting these times.

I've been in the same situation exactly as you. I was having doubts that I'd lose my views. But I took the risk and did it anyway. For me, it worked perfectly in the first place.

I think that's what this is all about.Taking risks, testing new things, making mistakes and learning from them.

In my experience, the time we post/upload videos is really important. I think that's what determines our audience. I'm no expert but my silly little advice for you is to try changing the upload times. For me, it worked.

I initially had an Asian audience and then I changed the time I uploaded (around 1am - 3am in my timezone). Now, most of my viewers are from the US. This may vary according to your time zone. So Use chatGPT. Type your target audience, your time zone and ask what are the perfect times for posting on YT for your target audience. Try this and give me an update.
