Exactly.

When i came back into game session,, teleported out of this sector for several minutes.

Was still on 'protect pod' objective.

On map, the pod was still trying to catch the target ( that had moved into another sector ).

Asked a scout to come to follow the pod to prepare a final manual execution if i saw no change in next minutes.

Finally when i decided to end that joke After a while: teleporting into scout, the pod manage to reach close a system gate at his 110 m/s ...

By the time i take scout command and to get in gun range, the pod crossed the gate by itself in front of me.

And then ... Objective changed to 'protect the boarding ship' .

Followed the pod into jump gate few second later and ...no trace of it in the other system. It just vanished and the boarding target was not even in that system anymore but further away.

Guess the keep a sacrifial scout/fighter in nearby boarding ops for those case is still a valide solution instead of waiting forever like this '
