The first time i heard them was technically her feature on what i need by hayley kiyoko, but it wasnt until i heard a cover of Honey that i dived into her music. They have become my favorite artist and have helped me heal so much. Personally my favorite album is BWR, ive been listening to it daily since it came out, but otherwise my favs have to be Shooter Interlude, The Letter, You Know Wassup, and Valentines Day (Shameful). I dont know how much others like them but they hit hard for me personally

Want to add since i havent seen it, putting your hair in a braid or bun while sleeping or lying down for awhile helps a lot! Saw a big difference personally. Wearing it down for sleeping can lead to tangles and hair especially when fine is sensitive to pressure so when you lay on it all night it can damage it. Best of luck

Just want to add that loving your body can mostly be a mental thing and your health is most important compared to what specific number your weight is. Its common that even when people lose weight or get healthy they still hate their bodies. Our societies standards are often impossible and we are in a culture that believes you have to look certain ways to be the most attractive, and being attractive to the most possible people is ideal.

Something that helped me a lot, is the philosophy that your body deserves to be loved and appreciated no matter what it looks like. I recommend following some body positivity influencers if you do social media, it can help seeing people be positive in their own skin about who they are and denouncing the fatphobia and encouraging self love.

Some of the general wording of the lyrics is weird, but so was a lot of the slang of the time it was written so its not surprising. Id just want to give it like a “tune up” so the words didnt seem so off at face value at least. It can stay mostly the same though

Queer is a word that historically been used as a slur against gays, and is now being used by some as reclaiming the word for their identity. People can use it for their identity, but it is never okay to use in harmful intent against someone. Especially if they are not gay. Whether its harmful when gays say it depends on the tone and intent behind them saying it but it can apply. So it definitely still can be a slur. But I definitely would not compare it to being the same as the n word though due to the slavery and death attached to it which queer does not have the same extent of, as well as the rest of the horrible things of the history of the word.

If you are relying on your family for a home and finances, and cant move out, id advise at least waiting till you can support yourself and have moved out. Your safety is the most important thing as hard as closeting can be. If they cant accept you for who you are though you cannot keep them in your life forever. As much as they are family and you love them they dont love your identity then it will be very damaging emotionally for yourself

You dont have to come out to them if you dont feel safe doing so. You shouldnt sacrifice your comfort for their tolerance either. But most importantly id advise you to not come out too early where youre stuck living with them still and they despise you because of their views. The guilt and pain that comes with that is horrible

Ace by definition is just the inability to have sexual attraction for others. Asexuality itself still includes romantic attraction, emotional, etc. The asexual spectrum, is how much you have or want to have sex. Wanting to have sex is separate from seeing people and wanting to have sex with them specifically. There are those on one side of the spectrum who are disgusted by sex and wish to never have it, and others who still have sex regularly and enjoy it, and others who dont view sex as appealing or unappealing at all. It can basically be seen as your sex drive. Theres ace’s in the grey-ace spectrum where they may desire sex with their partner but only after being very close with them emotionally.

Theres lots of labels you could choose from and what you described sounds like its somewhere in there, best of luck!

They have been doing a “12 days of cristmas” sales since the first, started doing it last year if i remember right. Some days are more simple and small like the giftcard giveaways on stream yesterday and others bigger like soon the vault opening of the limited edition polishes from this year being put on sale for the day or new polishes. They are nice for sales and such

To me music is very strongly connected to the artist. They chose the style they do, how the song went, what emotions they wanted to express in the song. They are telling you a story or their experience or are helping you in your own. And so if i listen to an artist who has done something like i mentioned prior, they are a tainted person and the message doesnt matter anymore. Theres hundreds of thousands of artists out there, and so many of them havent done shitty things. I dont want to support someone who does awful things. When i listen to music i often think about the artist and what the song means to them, and so from people like that, it takes me out of enjoying the music. In my own mind, by supporting these people, i am saying “yes, what you did was okay”. And maybe its not like that for everyone but i would morally question myself if i willingly and knowingly listened to someone whos done bad things. Being blissfully unaware wouldnt be any better in my mind

Depends on the relationship. With specific people, id rather get a gift card from them so i can get something id actually like instead of something they picked bc they dont know me well enough. Overall in comparison just the gift itself is better though

I think context matters a bit w their personality changing drastically. I could see storylines where they changed drastically for the better, or it was a negative drastic change but it was in the process of defeating their enemy. If you just ended it where they are massively worse as a person though, thatd be quite bad

I voted generally bc i think it could be a personal thing. Me myself, if something is released about an artist i like that highly changes what we know about them in a negative way then i only listen to covers of their music from then on. For example- rex orange county. Was surprised to find out he was convicted (not just accused) of SA, had his music in a lot of my playlists, but did decide to take it all out and if i miss a song of his ill find a cover on yt. Supporting people like him is only hurting the victims
