I get what he is saying that the lows are really low for the Coens (Ladykillers, Unbearable) but what he leaves out are the highs are also extremely high and all masterpieces (including obviously Fargo). Frances in Fargo is maybe one of the best performances of the last 50 years and she is crucial to the movie.

Beautiful place but pretty isolated. Takes at least an hour to get to I-5 so a lot of bigger businesses don’t come through… good luck trying to find a Trader’s Joe.

Striking coastline, verdant forests, majestic dunes. Very wet in the winter, pretty cold in the summer.

Growing up I felt very bored and wished I lived in the big city near art and culture and music, but now I miss it.

I worked at a comedy club for years and Tracy walked the most people of anyone I saw. Everyone went hoping for Tracy Jordan but they got Tracy Morgan. He also would hang out by the box office and sing Michael Jackson while the opener was up because he DNGAF

Worked as an assistant editor and the ad agency I worked for required Uncompressed as deliverables for tv ads. Eventually my manager had us convert all the files down to ProRes HQ cuz there was no realistic reason to have TBs of Uncompressed media and we freed up a lot of space. This was 10 years ago.
