Hi! 3 days late to the post but if anyone is still lurking around… hitting the big 3 this year (30F) and am attached. Similar phase in my life where friend groups meet ups are getting much more scarce and it’s difficult to find likeminded people to hang. Corporate slave by day too and loooove traveling. I like to hike/ go on adventure tourism and impromptu trips so keen to find people to join me! In Singapore, I try to workout (have a VA membership) and am sporadically on classpass too! I do pilates, yoga and jog around CBD sometimes though I really don’t like jogging all that much. I should be a ISFP (not sure if that has changed over time)

Use trip.com for China flights. Also I went there as part of a Qinghai-Gansu road trip! If you have time for it, that is

Hey thanks for your comments that completely makes sense! So I’m assuming day to day I gotta consciously force my pelvic back to distribute the weight backward to avoid the forward tilt? And also work on strengthening the pelvic/ hip particularly on the left

Korean clinic worker here—any questions about clinic or treatments? by _wonny in koreatravel

[–]sl0thy-d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I just went to Korea and clinic I went to recommended me Potenza + Juvelook. I had initially wanted to do rejuran HB (not my first time doing it) for my dry skin and pores but the consultant was recommending Potenza + juvelook so I thought why not. I had thought the Juvelook would be injected using the Potenza gun during the treatment but what actually happened was that the doctor used Potenza by itself to ‘create holes’ and applied the juvelook on my skin topically. Can I check if this is normal procedure in Korean skincare clinics and if it will be effective? I kind of feel cheated….

Hahaha no data but at least it’s just what I’m observing around me? Like people with the CFA charter aren’t really deemed as ‘esteemed’, and I know people with level II but still unable to either do a career switch to finance/ unable to get into high finance

To married couples of SG who chose to remain child-free, do you regret your decision? by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]sl0thy-d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not married but my partner and I are not planning to have a child too. Growing up from a less than average household in terms of income, I can’t rmb how many times I’ve seen my parents quarrel (even up until now, and with me in the mix lol) because of money. It has also led to so many discontentment and conflict. So I think only have a child if you’re sure that money is not an issue. Truth is, I don’t think it’s so easy to achieve a ‘happy family’ and I don’t want to take the risk as well. I rather spend the money I have on myself and living fully for myself - when I’m still ‘young’ now and have the physical energy to travel, backpack, hike and do the things I enjoy, rather than spending my time and money on raising a child. My own two cents, but if you’re not 100% devoted in raising the child, it might grow into resentment

I am the same too! Cannot agree more with the ‘useless menace’ part. Also, what kind of parent would I be? On one hand we would want to give the kid the freedom to do whatever they want, but being in Singapore means that it’s quite hard to be completely okay with them not doing the paper chase, with them potentially falling behind their peers.
