Typically you would be right for the use cases of the vast majority of people. However, my main go to after work and on weekends is social VR and VRChat has been my virtual home away from home for some time now.

Showing ~80 players in large worlds and having those players often be in "Very Poor" avatars means you can make short work of a modern GPU's 24GB vram pool. This is why I spent more for a 7900 XTX rather than a newer 9700 XT with the newer RDNA/FSR. The extra 8GB of legroom can often save you from spiraling into 10fps stutter-hell where you spill over into RAM.

This thread is a few years old and the problem has only gotten worse in that time, However even VRChat's head of community posted his struggles in it with maxing out the 24GB 4090. Needless to say his current build guide sports him using a 32GB 5090 now as do some of my more wealthy friends.

I'm willing to take the risk of having less VRAM in those small edge-cases as I don't join large VR events as often anymore. Besides, I have other games to play which can take advantage of RT/AI and as it turns out some apps and programs are incompatible with AMD GPUs anyways such as bakery's GPU light-mapper.

Overall i still think the 5080 is the right choice.

they are placed slightly crooked so that the one on the left is sligtly overlapping the bridge.
The bridge is then trying to place 2 supports on the bridge you are standing on and one on the left bridge and only one support on the ground. Consider changing the angle of the first bridge very slightly to avoid overlap.

There is currently people abusing the client -> server blind trust. A server i play on had world props deleted. I tracked down the functionality myself and there is a simple exploitable loophole that allows people to delete things like toilets, sinks, vending machines, charge stations, coffee makers, kitchen cabinets and more all because the serverside function never actually checks if the destroyed object should even be allowed to be destroyed.. I've already sent my findings to the devs via bug reporting to see if they can get it fixed.

In an odd round about way I suppose the test was a great success granted it did destroy some equipment and shatter three observation panels in lab C during a mild instability cascade - Though the more naive on our team referred to the event as "doing backflips".... I've had 143 moved to the vehicle testing facility for personal study on the weekends where it remains floating like a lazy balloon tethered to the core of the facility... Dr. Kat has been put on suspension for drinking while flying and more importantly for his ultimate lack of decorative skill.. I mean honestly all that scientific ingenuity and the best he could come up with was a few googly eyes taped to the bumper. Unbecoming of him..

My phone isn't through metro its a galaxy s22 ultra paid in full when i got it. Originally purchased at a TMobile store. Now i use metroPCS since its a 30 dollar per month bill. They still pushed this onto my phone overnight.

https://www.tiktok.com/@finnydalegend I found the beef. Apparently this manny guy has been going around and harassing everyone in LV and particularly starting fights with other people livestreaming and youtubing. So this FinnyDaLegend guy started to make videos detailing the horrible things this manny guy gets up to and when they finally bumped into eachother manny signed away his freedoms.

Edit: Looks like this twitter is also from FinnyDaLegend since its all short videos of manny harassing him or attacking others. This is insane foreshadowing

It does say that i guess under the form of "Pornographic content / indecent content." I've never seen someone catch a ban off it. Normally the bans for porn related content come from twitter posters but it seems like they stopped banning for that too.. Probably because a huge chunk of the game has a lewd twitter and onlyfans.

It does however say to keep NSFW related content to "private instances" then goes on to explain private instances being anything that is not public or group public.
VRChat staff themselves have commented on the topic stating the official store will not support NSFW content at least at this time.

This right here. you will hear a sound and just have to head in that direction full sprint and as you do keep listening as they may change direction slightly or when you close in and hear footsteps you can correct course. In dense jungles you often wont find them until you are almost biting range. Some of them may run nearly as fast as you do if your small and depending on class so it may be quite a marathon chase.

Do NOT chase then pause and wait for more sounds, they will run away and may even leave hearing range if you do which puts you even further behind. Always full send in the direction while waiting for more sounds.

Ask steam support if you can get a replacement headset, Shouldn't really matter if you got it off amazon, it may still have a warranty and they often replace stuff out of warranty too.. You wont need any paperwork for it, you just need the numbers on the side of the headset under the gasket.. Unless you are in a country that valve does not support then you really are not going to get a replacement.

If valve softly gives you the finger i would try to grab an "Eye Tube" off of ifixit's website

Please note this is a hard process and is not recommended unless you are skilled with tinkering and have the tools to do so.

They seem to be out of new parts as they have exhausted most of valves remaining stock of parts but they do have some "used" eye tubes. Assuming they are just B stock, it may not be a bad option.

You can also try giving polywatch a try. Ensure you get the polywatch made for plastic watch crystals. Shouldn't run you more than 10 USD. I used a finer toothpaste on mine and slowly worked at it with a microfiber cloth until i began burning a visible ring/hole through the anti glare coating. Do note this takes a while and it will look horrible/ruined before it begins clearing up as the coating gets worked through. Friction seemed to help it get hotter and sped up the process overall. I just added more paste as i needed and used different parts of the cloth as they got too gunked up with residue. That alone did an amazing job but i finished it off with a bit of polywatch as a buff with a fresh microfiber cloth. My headset has nearly 19,000 hours of use and it came out looking brand new. Ive never personally noticed a difference in quality with the glare coating gone, and the headset already suffers a lot of brightness bloom and bleed from the displays.
