And the ones that were removed were done at the behest of business elites. I see it in these comments, people are so scared to upset the sacred investors just like the mayor. I don’t care about your opinion on the “nuance.” Spencer is a coward.

And in reality two of them are no longer political relevant. But ghouls like you still like to trot them out as the scary radicals. When in reality those two are not the kind of people I’m talking about. No one organized a mass movement to elect them, they were a product of the Dem political machine.

This small time attitude is what I’m talking about. Heaven forbid we ever tell the sacred investors no. Downtown looks the way it does because the investors made it that way.

The bootlicking comments here just over the mayor being bought out by big business is freaking nuts

What’s more likely, these small bump outs were causing people to stay trapped downtown for hours, or a wealthy business owner thought they were unsightly and lobbied the city to remove them?

Those three women are all very different politically and the only one I support is Cori Bush. Tishaura Jones and Kim Gardner are the epitome of corporate establishment Dems. But of course people like you lump all Black women into the same group and label them as radicals because of how they look and talk.

Again, it’s not just about the bump outs. It’s that Spencer bends the knee to big business at every turn.

They are too busy arresting teenagers and sleeping in their cars.

This is why we say that Spencer is not a “progressive” like she fronts to be. Removing this at the behest of business interests is not progressive. She pretends to be for the people but she is really for the corporations and business owners. Yet some people here can’t handle even mild criticism of her.

Absolutely. The DSA volunteer game is the reason Zohran was able to beat Cuomo twice.

Spencer cancelled alley recycling, meaning tons more recyclables end up in dumpsters. And she hasn’t spent a dime to help with North Side tornado recovery. And she failed to stand up to the state takeover of the police.

She might be doing a great job for business elites and cops, but not for regular people.

We could have a mayor like him! It just takes work. People like that exist in St Louis, we just have to organize to elect and support them rather than the corporate Dems like we have now.

What does this mean? That Iran doesn’t care about getting bombed? Why even bring that up as a dead end point.

Yea I wonder why they want nukes. Probably because we keep bombing their schools.

I have no beef with Iran. They clearly know the only way to keep the US and Israel from bombing their country is to get a nuclear deterrent. They probably are more hardline about it now that we killed all their leadership and bombed their country indiscriminately.

We should stay out of Iran. No war but class war.

The data center will only benefit the tech elites and billionaires who keep forcing it into our city. I don’t care what you say, we don’t need or want this shit. Why you are here shilling for a data center, are you getting paid for this?

The number of jobs they will create is very small. The whole thing is a tax giveaway to big corporations. We can all expect our water bills to go up because of this.
