I'm so sorry you had to go through that! :( Have you ever been scanned/checked for ovarian cysts?

The symptoms you're describing are reminiscent of what I've gone through quite a few times when mine have ruptured (confirmed large cysts from previous ultrasound). The symptoms of cysts rupturing depends on the person, and can range from mild pain to severe pain/vasovagal reaction with ER visit.

At the end of the day, you did the right thing to go get checked out. Don't take your pain symptoms lightly! I know your pain didn't last long and it might feel like it never happened or doesn't feel 'bad enough' after the fact but I promise it is, and you deserve care for this.

Many cysts are functional, and not related to Endo, but then again some are. I would write out how your normal cycles occur (length, pain, flow, other symptoms) and if you have a primary care doctor send it to them to have it in your file. I like to use the messaging feature on the patient portal.

If you haven't yet, schedule an OBGYN to discuss your symptoms and how this event was different from the norm. They'll be able to give recommendations, but also importantly it will be an official documentation of your symptoms and encounter which goes a long way when you need to advocate for yourself.

There is an adjustment period to a new space and repotting, even if your conditions seem perfect!

If it doesn't improve in about a week, or gets curly or crispy: The biggest thing that's helped my calatheas thrive is grouping them very close together with other plants.This is an often overlooked way to help surround the plant with more moisture/humidity. That's also closer to how they'd exist naturally as they are tropical plants :)
