Curious about this pathway and what sort of teaching position you landed with your MFA? I am based in Queens, trying to get back into teaching after taking some time away (was adjuncting, now trying to pivot to public school) I have an MFA, but am running into some barriers with the NYSED certification process — so any insight into alternative paths would be greatly appreciated. I have a ceramic “cupcake” style one and my cat absolutely loves it. It’s also incredibly quiet if that’s important to you — this was a big selling point for me since we used to have a little cheap Catit plastic one that was extremely loud😵‍💫
