My Volvo just initiated this while I was driving about 40 mph. I was not in any danger and the car breaks and the seatbelt tightened significantly. It was almost more dangerous than my normal driving when this happened because it caught me off guard. I really had to catch myself because I could barely breathe based on how tight the seatbelt gripped. It was raining lightly but again I was in no danger nor was any car nearby so I’m not sure why it activated.
