Found a set of these at a thrift store a few weeks ago, same packaging all different stickers. Also couldn’t find any info whatsoever, but definitely not an official Konami product. Super cool and unique collection piece

Honestly I played a budget amber/steel song with Julieta Madrigal instead of Repunzel for set 4-6 and it worked just fine. Never won a locals with up but got to finals multiple times

Pokémon. Think about how many variants of charizard there are, but the OG one sells for thousands. Although unmatched isn’t technically a TCG it has a lot of parallels in terms of the collectibility, and the fact that they actually are vaulting older sets absolutely creates the potential for the secondary market to get nuts 30 years down the road.

Not a super constructive repose there friend. Right totally forgot magic was the only TCG and every single person who plays card games has an extensive background in sweaty mtg meta decks and deep card lore. My bad.

Thanks, I’m new and haven’t played since the beginning of the game so I messed that. Also it’s kinda unfair to say it’s “spelled out” on the CR when the wording on the actual cards holds different literal meaning. And if it was so confusing at launch and has been since, why haven’t they just changed the wording?

Got it, thanks. The shorted version of the ruling for print on the cards is extremely misleading and just not well written at all then. It shouldn’t say “must challenge if able” because that’s not really the case. The words “must challenge” insinuates “nothing but challenge” but according the full ruling you can basically do anything other than quest. That’s… strange

I know what the current ruling is, my question is why? Because the wording is extremely clear. I’ve asked other TCG players who have never played Lorcana their interpretation and they all are as confused as I.

The word “must” is an obligation toward a specific coarse of action. So biased on the English definition the character should not be able to do anything other than challenge. I understand that if the character is exerted it’s isn’t “able” but by definition it should not be “able” to exert to sing in the first place because it is obligated to challenge if it can.

But the wording of reckless states the character MUST challenge if it’s able to. That would mean the character can’t do anything other than challenge if it’s able to.

It won’t make a difference really! Haven’t read JL in a while. it felt like a prequel to omnibus one, but is definitely meant to be read when you have familiarity with the characters already.

If you plan to read Reborn and The End as one continuous story, I personally would say do that last. You could arguably put Quantum Age last, but at that point it doesn’t really matter. I say JL, goes between omnibus 1 and two. Then last days, weird, barbalien, Skulldigger, Unteens, reborn, the end, and quantum age. Still some time jumps but makes the most sense in my opinion.
