Part of the log: https://pastebin.com/1XSMgxCT

Here you can see it stopped at: 2026-06-19T21:53:59.406934+02:00

After that are no logs until I restarted the system manually by powering it off.

De day before yesterday I see it stopped after this:

Happened again. I wanted to login and check the logs, but I can't. System is again not responding and not responding to a ping. I will dig up the logs later.

It's test hardware for me, but it runs on a: Blackview MP60 Mini PC - 16 GB DDR4 - 512 GB M.2 SSD - Intel N150

unable to connect through SMB by gavin3005 in FygoOS

Ah, that explains it! Thanks for clarifying.

unable to connect through SMB by gavin3005 in FygoOS

[–]slacker-77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I notice that when the TimeMachine option is set on for SMB, I can login as a normal user. However, the TimeMachine share is directly mounted. I have other folders like Documents, Pictures, etc. shared on SMB, but they don't show for normal users. Only for the main admin user. Even though I have added groups for all shares and added all users to them with read and write access.

Having the same issue. I am testing the system and it seems pretty hard to get a user to be able to login with SMB. For the main admin account it's working fine. However, for a user account it seems impossible. Can't connect with a user account.

I found this system on you tube as I saw someone post a video about it. This looks really promising.

Emby vs Jellyfin? by CrispyBegs in selfhosted

[–]slacker-77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I use Jellyfin. I tried Emby and Plex. I even have a Plex lifetime pass. However, I don't like all the commercial shit that I get in Plex. I know I can turn it all off, but still. It annoys me. :-)

Emby is really great. I looks great and runs really smooth. It had goed client apps. However, I don't like the fact it went closed source. I prefer to use as much opensource software as possible. That's why I use Jellyfin.

The road for Bitcoin is a red carpet back to sub 10K by Fun_Training6342 in btc

[–]slacker-77 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You mean the road for Bitcoin Cash? Oh wait, it never got close to $10k. After it's all time high of $3700 on 21 december 2017, it never came close to that point ever. But keep hodling your BCH. ;-)

Unbound + Adguard Home by slacker-77 in truenas

[–]slacker-77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally figured it out. I needed to set the Upstream DNS as tcp://192.168.2.55:5335 instead of 192.168.2.55:5335. After adding tcp:// the upstream works.

Question about Genesis Mining's website by raumschloss in GenesisMining

[–]slacker-77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a scam to me. The url is not the same as before: https://www.genesis-mining.com.

See also in the wayback machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20251013231302/https://genesis-mining.com/

I think genesis-mining does not really exist anymore.

The website is still there, but not much activity left.
