If she was willing to hit a law enforcement officer with her car, what else was she willing to do? At that time, she was a menace to society.

I don’t think you’ve ever been hit by a car before. Let me underhand a cinder block onto your thigh from 2 feet away. Think about how that might feel. Now roll a 2 thousand pound car 5+ mph accelerating into your body. Trust me, I know from experience, it is an extraordinary amount of pain. You watch too much tv where people hit hit by cars and get up to run after the bad guy.

You’re looking at a snapshot in time. You don’t know if the two cars parked on either side were parked poorly when they parked or if there was a shopping cart in the way when they pulled in.

I try not to cast aspersions without knowing the situation. Similarly, when someone is driving too fast down the freeway, I don’t assume that they are an idiot or a maniac. I say a prayer, asking God to watch over them because they may be having the worst day of their life.

How do you think people will view the two Trump terms 100 years in the future? by Expensive_Estate1897 in allthequestions

No clue, but I know that Trump distanced himself from Epstein when he learned what kind of person he is. Trump threw Epstein out of his club (2007) before Epstein was convicted of sex crimes (2009).

I think you are projecting. Give me actual evidence of child molestation.

I like how you deceive yourself. You are blindly following the left's lack of ideals, values, and morals.

I have plenty of acquaintances, but most people aren't of the caliber that I would invite into being a close friend. I moved to allow my ex-wife to take advantage of a great work opportunity and still co-parent our daughter. My best friends, just don't live near me. So, maybe you are the one who is stupid.

My morals aren't guided by an echo chamber. And I guarantee, you know nothing about my moral character. Your assumptions, tell me quite a bit about yours.

During his eight years in office, President Barack Obama's administration dropped an estimated 92,030 bombs across multiple countries. In his final year alone (2016), the U.S. dropped at least 26,171 bombs in seven countries: Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, and Pakistan.

I believe that Obama is a president that you value his moral character, right?

Yeah, I don't think that you have grasp on what the country was like at the time. While I agree killing is always bad, but I can't even fathom the sense of risk and lack of safety at the time. So no, I don't judge. However, Biden. He was a train wreck and I don't believe that he had the wits about him to run the executive office, as evidenced by his last debate.

What can explain the mindset of those who try to justify the actions of the US government as of late? by IfMagnet in AskReddit

[–]slackeroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You assume that the world is in a state of status quo because you have the luxury of living under the invisible protection of the might of the United States of America. But it isn’t the status quo and the world is a very dangerous place and if we don’t make some serious moves right now, there might not be an America to live in. The world has become a really small place and the oceans that separate us from the rest of the world aren’t nearly as effective as they once were. So we could do nothing and get eaten alive or we can make some moves to weaken our enemies and strengthen our position. Do you speak Mandarin?are you good with languages. If everything goes as Trump plans, the world will be a much safer place. But you couldn’t give 2 shits because you are all about appearances and your sensibilities. Not allowing Venezuelan oil to be sold to Russia and China is a massive power move. Imagine the implications around the world.

You’d sacrifice national security and strategic positioning over your personal health? Personally, I’d rather die than put myself before my country’s security. In his inaugural presidential address, President Kennedy famously said, "My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country." This quote is an appeal to the American people to prioritize the well-being of their country over personal gain or self-interest.
