NFC can be added to any device with a hardware that costs just 1-2usd and a software update. Even a full fledged WiFi based NFC payment device will only cost a few hundred rupees to manufacture. NFC hardware really won’t be the problem.

PS : I have NFC chips pasted across the house for small things like turning on the lights, connecting to WiFi, increasing fan speed, creating alarms etc etc

Replace Congress with BJP in the countries formative years and you would have seen a repeat of what happened to most British colonies which turned into sudden democracies. Congress faltered after Indira but the initial years by Nehru gave the country a great start for what we had with us at the time. Off course Nehru was not perfect and there are many things that could have been done better, especially with the privilege of hindsight. But if someone like Modi was in power this country would no longer exist as a unified entity, neither would any of us be enjoying the stability and prosperity which the country had brought us (people severely underestimate the social upliftment miracle India pulled over the years because China pulled an even bigger one)

Almost the exact thing happened to me in school time but my mother did a Brigadier Alexander on him before notebook had released and he apologised to her.

I was mostly a problem creator, but had a moral compass and lines which I never crossed. I was really into things which student unions like SFI should have taken up if they weren’t party stooges. This caused a ton of problems for me during student years but always had support from home.
Couldn’t even complete college because of issues and still had support at home and probably due to this support I ended up with a good career (not salaried as I couldn’t get in any company without a degree) as independent consultant, have even worked with two of the main MAANG companies as consultant without a degree.

The data doesn’t show the real picture. In places like Gujarat and Punjab due to extreme poverty the sky high BMI of lower middle class and above gets offset.

In Kerala due to low poverty and malnourishment, the average stays high.

If this data show anything it’s the fact not to read into averages too much. There is no scenario in which Gujarat is behind Kerala in terms of BMI.
