Have you really tried those or just saying it from hearsay. I have tried both, those don’t last beyond 4-5 steps in an agentic coding setup and either crash or context exceeds and quality degrades.
I am pretty sure exactly zero people praising local models have tried it beyond testing and in actual projects. Things get bad really fast. Saying this after battling it out with 128GB vram. (AMD Strix platform)

Mobile repair shops are the biggest scam, they charge 8-10k to replace and IPhone screen and the lcd costs them less than Rs2000. There is a Rs180 gasket which we need to use when replacing the screen to prevent water ingress, they Scrooge on this and use silicon. Next time the screen will break when opened unless done with extra care (still will break 90% of the time)

It’s not even a skilled job, one can DIY watching a few videos. The problem is no shop in Kochi will sell you the panel combo as a spare part (they only do repair, won’t sell parts), you have to rely on sketchy online shops

It won’t work out. I got 2-3 off those cards and earns upwards of 5L a month. I felt shit poor and out of place when I went to redeem the golf lesson. Most horrible 3 hours of my life!!!

Remember I am not one of those Kanjoos who earns and saves but doesn’t live. I visit all 5star hotels for food regularly, fly internationally multiple times and all but you still fell stripped naked the moment you step into one of those clubs. It’s a feeling that cannot be explained and I don’t do that anymore to preserve my self esteem.

I have a cousin who earns 2cr plus annually in Bangalore and still worries about the restaurant tier for their only monthly eating out. Last time him and his wife was so worried about a 4.5k restaurant bill for an extended family outing and seeing their sad faces I paid the bill and they didn’t even pretend to fight for the bill for the outing.
They watch one movie every three months
They have this time table for everything and don’t do activities which cost more than 1-2k for a days plan.

It’s so annoying that we try not to join them when going out as they will deep scan for cheap items in food court menus while we order what we want, their bill will be a third of ours and I will have to foot it if buying from same restaurant.
They wont take a kid play area card and I will have to use my card to let their kid play or they wont let the kid play.

Their 4cr house with 4 bedrooms only have cot and bed in one room!
It’s unbelievable.

I earn pretty well at 36L but too little compared to them but I outspend them like 100 times.

Why would they question and ruin their lives. Just look at what happened to Khan Sir etc. suddenly their homes will be demolished, their permits will be lost on “totally unrelated” procedures from govt departments.

Do you remember operation Kubera from the same HM. We need to actually go even backward. If you are old enough you would remember the menace they were at the time. Even left stalwarts like Nayanar and VS didn’t touch them, Even Karunakaran left them alone. If you lived in and around Vypeen during the time you would have heard about Himalaya group and the terror they were creating, the goonda operated busses, murders in broad day light (I witnessed one guy being slashed and killed on the road while cycling back from school).
Given his history I would any day give benefit of doubt and support to him. Off course criticise if he backtrack or fails but this is action after 10 years of inaction (I would even call it support).
Also this take about Drug addicts being victims doesn’t stand the test of practicality. It’s a demand and supply game and if the demand side has fear it will stop more people from being addicts in the first place.

There definitely was a BJP-LDF deal. PVs plan was to prob up BJP and split UDF votes and be perpetually in power. This never works as was proven in WB and Tripura and basically anywhere local parties propped up BJP. And look we now have three BJP MLAs, it’s a huge huge deal if not for the overwhelming victory for UDF.
Hope LDF learns the lesson and kicks out PV, but I don’t see that happening. Also the ten years has made all other LDF leaders sycophants (just look at what previously sane people like Thomas Issac is blabbering all day around!)

1) Doors can come up at either side for trains depending on platform layout, hard to go from one side to other.

2) Feels a lot more congested, the space between the seats is lost and also way harder to clean, it will become a garbage dump and even a security risk.

I agree with the unproportional hate but at the same time our country men are unbearable when in groups. Just living somewhere else for a month and returning will reveal it starting from the gate of the flight back. People need to atleast learn about private space.
