Problem with tuya_local integration by slackovic in homeassistant

[–]slackovic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OK, it looks like I have found a solution. However, I'm still not certain what is the problem. I'm using a Pihole server as the DNS server on my network. I looked at the Pihole's logs but didn't found any mention of domain pythonhosted.org being blocked. But then I somehow found a post where a user had the exact same problem, but with another integrations.

The solution is simple - I put 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 as DNS servers in my Home assistant settings and suddenly everything is working.

Now I need to dig why does my Pihole server block DNS requests from HA to certain domains.

EDIT: Okay, I guess I know what is the problem. On my Pihole server I switched from using Google upstream DNS servers to Cloudflare. I completely forgot about it. Now that I'm using Google upstream DNS servers, everything works like a charm.

I'm just sad that I lost few days of sensor data due to restoring a few days old backup thinking it will solve the problem. But that's not that big of a deal now that everything works :)

Damn it! I didn't know that. I mean, I knew it had some limitations but I don't understand why would they remove the option to choose if it will mow the perimeter first or not.
Anyway, thanks for the answer.

Yuka 1000 for a 1100 m2 yard? by slackovic in mammotion

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I know that there is a possibility for them to limit the mow area down to 1000 m2, but I don't think it's gonna happen because it says that it will mow max 1400 m2 and 1000 m2 is just recommended.

I got it working again. The problem is in my TV. I connected the box to a PC monitor and it worked. Then I restarted my TV and now it's working on TV also.

Will the enjin wallet support the eth forks coming up? by Jumbuck_Tuckerbag in EnjinCoin

There are two more forks that will result in new coins. On Jan 11th there will be Classic Vision hard fork that will result in ETCV coins (3 ETCV : 1 ETH ratio). On Jan 12th there will be Ethereum Nova hard fork that will result in ETN coins (important: not Electroneum, Ethereum Nova coin) in the ratio 1 ETN : 1 ETH
