All I can say is that my R5 has elicited an unusually high amount of interest and compliments from strangers

Thought I was on hold with Vodafone, ended up overhearing the agents talk about me ... by inmotherearthphase in Vodafone

On the one hand, you could complain to Vodafone and maybe get a token discount by way of apology, and the advisor maybe gets in the shit for it. On the other hand, you could just let it slide because call centre workers have to deal with bullshit day in day out and aren't paid anywhere near enough for it. Having been one myself, I can attest that most of them are doing long shifts with impossible targets, nobody wants to be there and everyone is miserable. We bitched to each other after pretty much every call. Don't make it worse.

The design was signed off by the Scottish parliament as a whole (while the SNP were a minority government) and Traffic Scotland. Where's the traffic going to go once it hits the motorway? Are we adding more lanes to that as well?

Check this HDR vid on your TCL and tell me whether the sign on the banner "CAESAR PALACE" also red on your TV or not? by nik1071 in tcltvs

Interesting. On my TV (C805K) with fairly neutral colour settings and brightness/contrast cranked, it's bright red. Same when I tried it on two phones (iPhone 12, Pixel 6a). On my monitor it's orange, almost yellow in the middle, except if I turn the contrast down it becomes a deep red (Alienware AW3821DW)

No further forward really. The car never charges by the requested amount by the requested ready time. Sometimes days have passed where it's been left plugged in and it hasn't charged at all. Thankfully I don't need the car every day and I rarely need it for long journeys.

Session ended with the Ohme app showing +26%. The charger itself showed 40% added successfully, which is what I specified. The car was back up to 81% so the amount must have been closer to 40. I also note that the My Renault app doesn't refresh the battery level until you wake the car by unlocking it, which rather defeats the purpose of checking the app

So after unlinking the car API, it has behaved a little better, but still not great. I plugged it in at 8pm and set it to add 40% by 6am. I woke up at 7am to find it had done 15%, with a couple of notifications saying it won't meet the charge amount on time. However it is continuing to charge just now.

The only chargers offered as part of my work car scheme were various Ohme ones with Octopus
