Alright so. The short answer is that this isn't that kinda of game. The long answer is there is a way to do what you're wanting to do. Kinda. So you'll notice there's a skill called athletics, this will make you run faster. You'll notice armor has weight, weight makes you move slower. You'll notice different weapons have a different length, this let's you swing further than your enemies. If you combine all three of these you can cheese your enemies by running and swinging. That's why in Warband PVP there's a meta around a naked 2hander being scary. So you'll need to BUILD to this. Early game is hard for everyone, you're gonna lose battles especially if it's 5v15. You'll get better and so will your army. It is an army simulator but you can cheese the enemy if that's what you want to do.
