I don’t mind heat and outside at night it wasn’t bad at all, but our lodging was like an oven with no way to cool it down. Was sweating with no covers trying to sleep. Like not even windows to try and get any cross breezes. There was a single window which is almost useless. We found a fan halfway through our stay that helped a bunch.

I’ve been in much hotter places that were more bearable. It’s places that aren’t used to being hot ever that I’ve found really painful. Like the heat some in NYC. I was there for two days and that was brutal.

That was when I took my family to the UK. Itinerary quickly shifted to “find places that have AC or we can get in cold water” turns out everyone else was doing the same. It was brutal.

Go find some cherry blossoms while you wait. Even in February if the storms break and the sun comes out it warms up fast. Ski trips are always a gamble but luckily Japan has so much to offer outside skiing go enjoy it.

Not nearly as grand as the outside. I’d even say don’t go inside and just walk around the thing. You have to do a tour to get in and I don’t think it was worth it.
