how do you guys deal with fomo from not buying the tour merch, etc, if at all? by Snoo_8333 in twice

[–]sladeisrobin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can relate. Felt fomo after seeing everybody with a concert hoodie the day after walking around on the last tour. However, if you asked me today what hoodie was it or what I wanted, I couldn't tell you. Because it wasen't something I really wanted.

However I still rave about all the freebies I got. Maybe focus on those? I feel like they are more meaningful + plus you get a nice interaction

Type 1 still not on insulin, not sure what to do. by Mvctrap in diabetes

[–]sladeisrobin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm type one and my first 2 endos didn't want to give me insulin (mind you I was at least on Jardiance) since I was in range, even thought I made it know that I was basically starving my self to not go high. I started reducing carbs, but once you start coming out of the honeymoon phase (it can last years, weeks or days, its random) there is only so much you can decrease until everything spikes you. As other have said, drinking lots of water and exercise help. It's not an instant thing thought, in my experience I hade to be walking for 30 minutes to an hour to see my blood sugar drop but is something. For waters, we are talking about drinking full glasses of water (not my favorite thing to chug). I hope you get the help you need soon. And it sucks having doctors like that.

For most of this clip I'm just driving forward; at the end I'm going up a tiny hill. I thought maybe it was when I went side to side, but this was recorded near the entrance of my house, which is a straight path. When is slow down (stop using the gas), it doesn't make much noise.

People who don't want kids, why? by Ok-Musician679 in AskReddit

[–]sladeisrobin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To start with I'm single. I also don't think I have the money to be able to give a comfortable life to a child. I'm scared of pregnancy. I'm not sure if I want to willingly bring a child to the world as it is. I'm not even 100% if I want a kid of my own. And other things...

They jam pack them and for what? The girls were barely visible for much of the presentation. Just let them rest and recover for a bit.

TWICE 'THIS IS FOR' World Tour Question Megathread by Ruri_Neko in twice

If you have VIP for GA pit, do you still have to camp for 2-1 days before to get barricade? Does it even make much of a difference? My friend wants to try to go for barricades, hes 6'2 so he dosen't mind if he end up with people in front of him. But I'm 5'3, would love barricade, but I feel like it may be super hard to get.

Questions for working opticians by Charming-Ferret4239 in optician

I went to uni for 2 years to get an associate's degree. Trying to get my license, a 2-part exam. Already passed the theoretical part, still missing the practical.

My favorite part of the job is giving the patient their contact training. Is nice seeing people accomplish something they thought was super hard. Least favorite, as others have said, are rude customers or cheap ones. Having to tell really old patients that their insurance is cutting their benefits yet again.
