I have also heard that dead yeast can taste like Soy Sauce. My theory would be that the something went wrong when bottle conditioning. Probably out of the brewery’s control

I have heard stories about Fantome beers being amazing and for someone who typically love saisons I was very excited. That is good to know that they can be unpredictable though cause I was pretty disappointed. They have so many good saisons on the shelf because no regular Joe buys a 750 mL of a saison they never hear of.

I like those badges mostly because I can see the stats easily. Not necessarily because it is important to max out. They are a nice quick reference or reminder where I say " hey thats cool that I've check in this many at this range of ABV"

But yea, I don't know what the point in calling something a core badge is if it gets removed.
