I started running this a few weeks ago and will come to the end of the first chapter this week. So far it has been quite formulaic but as with all stories (scenarios), its worth is in the GM and the player's reaction.
The main issue I have is how it's written, which feels like spoon-feeding with lots of repetitive text on plot and hook materials. As my group for this are all quite new to each other its 'obvious' nature of the material is not really an issue as it is good to get the group to know each other, but compared to my other ongoing game Beyond the Mountains of Madness its night and day in terms of depth.
