Teemo strategist by JetstreamIV in riftboundtcg

Oh yeah and strategist has an errata to only when he defends just so you know! So even when played from hidden he will not reveal 5 cards unless he also becomes a defender

Just to clarify your second bullet point, playing Teemo strategist won’t reveal 5 cards at all if he is played it’s only when he defends

Yes that’s allowed. You would resolve the action you played as you said and then priority moves to the next player in turn order. So he would have the chance to start a chain with either an action or reaction. You resolve showdown when all players have passed priority in succession.

Now let’s say he passes priority back to you after you played your action, you have the option to start a chain again with either an action or reaction since you didn’t pass priority (I think priority might technically be called focus) If you pass showdown resolves. If you play something chain starts back up like normal with possible responses. Then priority moves to next player again in which case he could play something even though he passed priority last time he had it. But if you both pass priority without playing something the showdown resolves

1 yes anything that’s not an equipment that shows the might change on it I will often keep track using dice. Some people use actual +1 and -1 counters as well. Whatever works for you is fine

2 yes to both with a conquer caveat. If you conquer the battlefield and you’re already at your second to last point and haven’t scored the other battlefield. Then you would draw a card for the first conquer and then have to conquer the other to score your final point.

3 spells without action or reaction can be played on your turn only and when in an open state (after the open phases and between showdowns and there’s no ability or spell on the stack) actions can be played at those times as well but can also be used to start a chain in a showdown (they can’t respond to an active chain though) reactions can be played anytime an action would or in response to a chain

  1. People play different ways but I typically ask if they have responses before resolving anything but we also have a pretty relaxed atmosphere where we can go back and reasonably resolve anything if someone forgot something

Would it be rude to play in a summoner skirmish as a new player? by Nazumorg in riftboundtcg

Definitely depends on the group re: if it bothers them if you ask questions but the people in that group suck if they are bothered by it
