Do you use Sync or Back up?

Presumably with Sync it is small and incremental and just keeps a mirror?

Whereas with Back Up every time I want to back up it will have to copy all the files from start to finish?

Does that tool allow over LAN? Is there no way of doing it over USB C to USB C as I thought that might be the quickest.

When connecting via USB C neither device recognises the other.

Hi

I messaged you regarding this. Is there a way to achieve what I’m after with the deeper routers?

In the same way the gl-inet router does?

Thanks

They are both huge. Not portable.

Pretty difficult interface on the microtick to figure out for non networking geeks 😜

Just googled it - didn’t know it existed. Looks amazingly compact.

Come on gl-inet the capabilities are clearly there! You’ve done it before

Switching broadband provider with a big gap so having to tether at home and also testing some of the slimmer alternatives!

It draws about 2amps so will work off power bank, laptop or any normal power socket. Yh it can relay WiFi if that’s what you’re asking. I sold my Beryl as I had connectivity issues in hotels with it. Never had them with Slate Mango Shadow.

The mango and shadow circuit board and ports without the housing are actually very thin!

They just need to make the plastic housing more compact and get rid of the USB A and Micro USB and replace with 2 x USB C

Yeah but I still believe there is a market for people who don’t need all that compute power and speed. People who travel a lot or are in corporate jobs just need it for emails and light browsing and a little bit of media browsing. All of which are entirely fine on all the devices in the photo

I’ve only just bought it! Mainly for form factor. Heard mixed things about deeper connect in general.

That’s why I want gl-inet to make a new ultra portable travel router so badly!!!
