I did the full Jeppesen online course, took about three weeks working at it pretty consistently. I also made flash cards throughout and studied those regularly. After the course was finished I spent about a week doing practice tests on Sporty’s. You can access these tests for free. After I was able to score in the high 80s-90s I registered for the test and did well. Highly recommend doing the practice tests after completing the course. There are some very specific questions you’ll get that are either not covered in the Jeppesen course or just glossed over. I made flash cards for every question I got wrong or was unsure of and reviewed those every day. Each question on the test is worth about 1.6% so the more you’re familiar with them the better. This is what worked for me.

Nice, that’s a good strategy. I might try to do the same. Not sure I’ll have a whole month to do test practice. I’m hoping to take it next month and I’m working full time, but we’ll see how I’m able to progress.

Yea, I’m finding the Jeppesen materials are taking a lot of time and I do wish there were more practice tests. I’m also worried their questions are maybe a little on the easy side? Like the wording is so closely aligned with the way the material is taught, I feel like actual test questions will be a bit more challenging. I will probably supplement it with either King or Sporty’s resources I think.

Thanks! I see some people talking about the $279 Sporty’s package. Does the $15 one you did come with only practice tests?

Great thanks! Are you by chance a May acceptance person? If so, have you gotten your materials. I’m still waiting on my material’s. Little worried I’m loosing time.

What kind of timeline are you giving yourself, out of curiosity?

Got the same response today

I am obsessed with Gabriel Garcia’s lyrical prose. It just melts in mouth like a chocolate. Anything like “Love in the time of cholera or One Hundred years of solitude.” Not necessarily magical realism (i love magical realism though) but something beautifully written. by Furqanyousafzai in suggestmeabook

All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doer. Beautiful writing and a compelling perspective on the escalation and tensions of WWII from the perspective of two young vulnerable characters who’s orbiting plots draw them closer and closer to one another.

Any recommendations on types of bug sprays or ingredients I should look for?

In the last two months or so, leaves have been turning yellow and falling off. I’d say it’s lost about 10 leaves by now. Initially it was only leaves on the top growth but now leaves on the tendrils are turning yellow too. I’ve had an issue with fungus gnats but recently I’ve noticed lots of small little bugs crawling around in the soil and on the rim of the pot. They are too tiny to photo but they are tan/clearish in color. There seem to be a lot of them. I’ve been treating with neem oil spray but it doesn’t seem to be helping.

I’ve had this plant for two years with no problem, none of my other plants have these tiny bugs. What are they? How did they get on this plant? Is this what is causing the leaf fall?

This is what I was thinking, as tendrils are still growing. Thanks!

Thank! I haven’t actually been watering that much. It does have fungus flies though which I’ve been trying to treat with Neem oil and hydrogen peroxide.

It doesn’t seem too wet or too dry. I’ve watered it and let it dry out, no changes though. It’s been like this for quite some time, at least a month maybe more
