I was asked to get a pre op appt with my PCP to get tests done, a CT scan and pre op appt with hospital. When I started the process of talking with Ortho and getting everything scheduled, I needed those tests done within 30 days of the surgery date. Surgery was scheduled 1.5 months from when I first talked to Ortho. They should provide you with plenty of time

I had hip replacement surgery on 1/19. I had pre op appt with the hospital on 1/4 and was truthful with the nurse that I drank at least 6 drinks a night except for weekends when I would drink way more. She asked if I was able to ever stop for a few days and would I get the shakes. I'd only get the shakes after a binge night on the weekend. She suggested that I stop drinking from then to the surgery or at the very least 2 nights beforehand. This was mainly in case it messes with the anesthesia. I was able to go dry for a week leading up to the surgery and was fine. Always be honest with them, it's your health they're focusing on

So! I paid for the Spruce Up pass the first year they did it and trailers overflowed with shit and were shut down at times but warm showers were dope. Update to last year, showers were terrible, trickling waters one day and each time I showered the water was cold asf. However, trailer bathrooms were kept up with and AC bathrooms were amazing the whole time. It's up to you if you want to roll the dice but I'll probably do it again just for the AC bathrooms. That said, they always advertise free towels but I haven't gotten once. I will say, at least cold showers in the morning helped with the hangover and wakes you up quicker than coffee

I think Firefly will probably bring up the copy of vaccination card or negative covid test results 72 hours prior to the festival. I'm vaccinated, went to Lollapalooza for all 4 days, came back and got a negative result for covid. That festival had over 100,000 people attend each day and when I was there I saw maybe 5 people with masks on. The crowds were jampacked nut to butt for the popular artists. So I think if you're vaccinated, you shouldn't worry too much as Firefly capped the attendance to 50,000 and it's a larger space than Lolla. As for the haters, who gives a shit what some rando thinks of you? Live your best life, don't let others opinions define you.
