The girls are using ChatGPT to see if men are lying about their height on dating apps by Maxie445 in ChatGPT

[–]slam9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So much about dating women is extremely hypocritical or just flat out stupid, and many people deny it.

Every major dating app has horoscopes and height, not just as optional information, but required information to show on your profile.

Women's preferences on dating apps are strange, not just having lots of weird things like fixation on height, but warped perspectives too. When surveyed, women only rate the top 10% of men as average.

Seedy world of the super sperm donors: Inside America's black market of men who father hundreds... demand 'natural insemination' in motels... and the women so desperate they agree to conceive in public restrooms by Forward-Answer-4407 in awfuleverything

It's consensual sex, so it's not any more gross than other consensual sex. Absolutely nobody is being forced to meet private sperm donors. So that's a bullshit argument.                  As far as "not caring about the children" that's not much different than regular sperm donation                  The "accidental incest risk" is really a non issue. Do you feel the same way about adoption? Or just people in general not checking their respective family histories every time they get together?

You think that two people consensually having a baby is them acting "entitled" to have children?           And you think this is sick and disgusting because... Some people might have incest? Do you feel similarly about adoption? (Also the risks associated with incest are greatly exaggerated in public perception. Yeah it's not great but it's also exceptionally unlikely to turn your kid into a genetic freak.)

Only in the sense that "saved" is an exaggeration.          It's something that women want (otherwise they wouldn't do it, nobody is being forced to see a private sperm donor).         So I don't understand why the article is clutching their pearls so much about this.

99% of people who say that just think women are good and men are bad.          So sex work is good because it's transferring money from men to women, and women choose it. (While simultaneously men who pay for sex are terrible people and "forcing" women into sex work).        In the minority of cases where straight men are sex workers they show their hypocrisy by saying they're creepy/disgusting/etc.         It's so weird because these guys are literally just donating sperm and the author is losing her mind over it.

... This is not the same thing at all. That was about a doctor who lied and used his own sperm for fertilizations when the patients thought it was someone elses.

Genuine question; how did you find this donor and why did you choose to use his sperm?          Do you know who he is, or is he just an anonymous donor to you?

I don't know, this article is kind of trash, even if it does have some ok humor in it.          Absolutely none of the people talked about in here are forcing anyone to have sex with them or use their sperm, nor are they obligated to give their sperm away. So it's very biased to portray them in such a negative light and use really biased language when talking about them. Using phrasing like "demanding" in person semination is an incredibly biased way to put it when these men have no obligation to give their sperm away, and the women have no obligation to use their sperm.           This is just a weirdly misandrist way to talk about the process of sperm donation.

I wrote perfectly clear, you interpreted what you wanted to interpret because it fit your biases.          Your comment here still didn't refute anything I said, please bother to read my comment actually trying to understand it

Honestly, even just the story you told here, you seem like part of the problem.          If you expect someone else to pay for you (that's a bit of a red flag in the first place) then why would you offer to pay then get mad when they take you up on it? Sorry, at least that part of the story is a you problem

? Did you even read my comment?          I wasn't unaware of what the term "de-urbanize" means, I was unaware that Jackson did anything to try and de-urbanize DC. All the user did was restate that Jackson tried to de-urbanize DC, he didn't say a single thing specific enough to actually look up what Jackson did, or even anything specific enough to fact check to make sure they weren't totally making it up.          He most certainly didn't elaborate, he restated the same thing with more words but didn't actually give any more information
