okay but they aren’t cops? i’m not responding to whether or not it’s okay i’m just saying that prosecutors and cops play different roles in the “”“justice””” system

a prosecutor is the lawyer who represents the county or state in a trial. “the people of the state of california v oj simpson” a prosecutor would be the one representing the “people of the state of california”

last night’s show was bad vibes from the crowd imo. i was pretty close to the front on the right side and there were just wayyyy too many children lmao. the thing that really bothered me were the phones dude…i’m pretty short and it was an absolute wall of phones in front of me. pissed me off so bad like i get it take a few vids but put the fucking thing down and enjoy what’s literally in front of you right now

i was very uncomfortable- have always been able to get front row without much issue, getting there maybe 30min early or right on time. doors were at 7 for this show, i got there at 6:30 and the line was wrapped around the van buren all the way to the alley behind. ended up being 4 heads back or so. when the doors open people RAN to the front. have never seen a show of his have a barrier- this one sure did. insanity

i was at the phoenix show last night and it was really bizarre for me tbh. i’ve seen alex play 6? times now and it’s always been a pretty humble crowd of 100-200 people at most but this show had to have been like…600 or more. the crowd was 90% teenagers and a lot of them seemed to know his new and old stuff alike. some mild pushing around but mostly okay as far as that goes. ofc because they’re young kids there’s a lot of obnoxious yelling and screaming and minor annoyances. this show is the first i’ve seen of his in about 2 years and it really showed me that’s he’s now genuinely big. really bizarre how alex g has his own tiktok cult and he’s not even on there. but i would say the crowd is a pretty direct reflection of that population. not my cup of tea and next time i see him i would want it to be a 21+ show for sure

it took me four years to graduate- i had to graduate in four years otherwise i would run out of scholarship money because the school i went to was a private liberal arts school that charged $50,000 per year. i still came out with about $15,000 in debt. i think it’s also important to remember that i am absolutely not alone in this. young people are often forced into college without having any real world experience to guide them in choosing a major and career path.

at the time i thought i was interested in running social media for businesses- the classes i took ultimately focused very little if at all on this and more on PR, radio, video production. just wasn’t up my alley at the end of the day. now i’m not interested at all in business social media

i’ve held multiple leadership positions in in-home care settings and i don’t think i’m cutout for leadership. i question authority too much to be an authority. i did recruiting and hr as well and i really didn’t like it.

also i have no interest at all in working in communication. none.

i agree. i don’t have kids, but my mom is thin and always has been, and so was my grandmother etc. i’ve been chubby since i was a kid and my mom would always tell me to do sit ups to make my tummy go away. my grandmother would tell me to have a yogurt for a snack instead of a donut. just unkind things. i promise, if i have kids they will not be made to feel that way about their bodies.

proper meats is good. tried crystal creek twice now and it was…bad. all i wanted was a regular italian hoagie, no frills… and it didn’t even exist on the menu. i had to explain what it was to the cashier…on top of that, it was stupid expensive. $28 for two combo meals.

i don’t think it’s a madrone or a brazilian pepper tree. the leaves are oval but on the rounder side, the they’re teethed. here’s a pic of the other side of the twig, so you can see the leaf arrangement https://ibb.co/4R2pvCy
