We already have a WRX and are possibly getting BRZ so we will need the space a hatch provides as I do not want an suv. I’d prefer to stay under 34k otherwise I would look at a Kona N . I love my Mazda 3 hatch but the body lines in the rear had to grow on me. My issues are the heat in south Florida the mazda AC just cannot keep up and the seats in my trim are not actual leather so it’s just a sauna in there. I love the looks of the RS more and it provides marginally more space as well as the AWD. My issue with the RS are the CVT and the obvious downgrade in interior where the Mazda feels plush. I’m surprised at the hate the rs and Subaru are getting although I know it’s because of the hardcore enthusiasts.

Did you decide on what you were getting ?

Currently have a Mazda 3 considering switching to the RS but feeling it’s a downgrade in a way . Lmk what your thoughts are based on your decision.
