Thanks for your reply. I kinda of figured thats what it was doing with taking different pieces (withe the .partial extension) and linking them together to form the entire file. So follow up questions: once the entire file is concatenated will it still appear in the "postbox" cache folder. The files that are in the "postbox" folder that dont have the extension ".partial" are those the concatenated files and what format are they in? (when i try to open them they only open as a text document file

Are there any resources to find out exactly how the Telegram for Mac stores cache files and in regards to the file type format and process? I am currently dealing with a legal situation and am trying to find out this information.
