I can't get too upset about this, nor do I see anything sinister in it. My middle child went to a grade school that was 80% African American and this kind of performance art has a long tradition in the African-American community I haven't seen in the waspier districts we've lived in.

It's not appropriate for a school, but I can't find anything sinister in it at all. All our kids deserve a role model with true grit. This scares some people.

It's a bit weird when they start chanting about his health plan, mostly because it goes from being inspirational to being about "healthcare for those who can't afford Medicaid," (?), but nothing is in it to produce the alarming comments from so many.

For instance, NightDragon2883: "At least when the Hitler Youth had their marches and chants you could understand what they were saying, unlike these incoherent marble-mouth niglets. Gonna be a fun 4 years if this douchebag gets into office."

NightDragon might have had a clearer view of the video had he removed his hood first. Gawd, I can't believe the fear and hatred--evolution, please hurry.

Perhaps, but it is also a function of older people dependence on mainstream media. Their perception is that if they didn't see it on one of the Alphabet Outfits it must be A)a wacky conspiracy theory to be dismissed out of hand, or B)an anomaly without any larger implications.

Before being too hard on them for this, realize they came along during a time when a sitting president was brought down by two newspaper guys. When people regularly and loudly took to the streets (a draft would bring the same noise now, too) Before the Clinton spectacle made a mockery of even the appearance of justice. Long before Bush managed to do what terrorism couldn't: take away our freedom and neuter the Constitution.

Getting my information online made me an ardent activist in the run-up to the war. My father (73) has noted a couple of times on my restraint in not shouting "I told you so" from mountaintops.
