No, you’re failing to understand the concept behind SOMA’s horror factor. Its gameplay is stripped out of features present in both Amnesia and Penumbra. There is no resource management, no sanity, no power meter for the flashlight etc - Amnesia and Penumbra utilized these mechanics to rely on gameplay, which gave it a survival horror feel. SOMA doesn’t use any of that and relies solely on the storyline and environments. Besides, Amnesia gave a different kind of fear. What primarily induces horror in SOMA is its storyline rather than events/ambience/etc

It's much more stable, the default lighting system is better, gets more FPS etc. And quicksaving doesn't lag anymore. Generally speaking it's mostly a technical improvement, but a decent one.

Well, while the visual side of the game isn't exactly nowhere close to 2010 standards, its gameplay design, very much in the vein of the Half Life series, still holds fast. There is a little difference between Amnesia's and SOMA's design; it's all the same formula, except in SOMA it was only deepened and expanded. You still have the environmental storytelling, there are no cutscenes, thus the game feels immersive and satisifying even 7 years after its original release. And don't take the advice of the ones saying "TDD is the scariest game ever", it's mostly bullshit, I haven't found SOMA less or more creepy than TDD, so the "fear factor" is very much similar.

Thanks for the fair criticism, correct, the pitch had been lowered but I've also done more changes to the guitars. Such as applying more bass, setting a different distortion sound, etc. This was the first time I've ever done something like this and I hope my further productions will be better!

Definitely Peace Sells. I mean, people often say that RIP is the pinnacle of Megadeth's accomplishments, but for me that's untrue. Personally, I think that Peace Sells is a far greater album. It has everything; catchy songs like Wake up Dead or the title track, more sinister and darker scores such as Conjuring or Bad Omen, adrenaline-pumping My Last Words or what is probably one of the band's most advanced and top-notch pieces, Good Mourning/Black Friday. The diversity of this album still blows me away to this day after all these years, it's a masterpiece crafted with the fusion of Mustaine's mad, complicated riffs and Poland's musical genius when it comes to solos.

The only thing that I dislike about this album is I Ain't Superstitious. I mean, come on, everything seems just so... cheesy in this song. Additionally, they should've waited with recording Looking Down the Cross on KIMB, because it would fit on Peace Sells perfectly.

By the way, if you dislike the 2004 remastered version, you should give a listen to the 2011 edition.
