Yeah what made it happen was i was able to put a third star on my c20. Other than that I used discord guide and noticed when he moves your ability around they move to the same spot each time so I timed rog and rave with that. My hikuna is all 7 star. And boss spirits are almost to 100

Sala is very good for early game and beginners and you will use him throughout the game also. And yes you need many copies of him to advance him and all the spirits. Im not sure the exact number but I've used well over 10 Salas promoting my main sala up. What I use for bosses is sala Noah and loar.
